Lovell hoarding will soon be erected around the playground area outside Threadgold House with construction work starting in that area shortly after.
Residents safety is of paramount importance to us and securing the playground with hoarding is not just about keeping intruders out; it is also to ensure the safety of residents and the general public. Lovell have been instructed to close the playground by LB Islington to allow us to carry out our works safely.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and should you have any concerns regarding the closure of the playground, please contact Alexandra Robins – email@example.com
Please note that work has started on the new ball court which is due to open in Summer 2016.
Lovell have entered the popular CCS Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition and we need your help! The competition provides an opportunity for the residents and Lovell to work together in creating a piece of art for the community to enjoy.
We are inviting children aged 7 to 11 to join us at the New Ball Court site at Baxter Road on 23rd April to help create a unique piece of artwork on a section of the hoarding around the site. Once the hoarding has been decorated, Lovell will submit photos and information on the event to CCS Scheme by 3rd June, when the winning entries will be selected by a judging panel. All children who take part will receive prizes regardless of Lovell winning the competition.
We are planning on the event to take place on Saturday 23rd April at 11am. We do ask if you and your child/children would like to take part in the project could you please contact Alexandra Robins via email or phone on 07976 225 300 no later than Wednesday 20th April.
For more information about the scheme visit the CCS Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Webpage.
We look forward to seeing you there!
