We are writing to provide you with information about the development works at Dover Court Estate for Phase 2. In January 2019 we issued you a letter regarding the works and what areas would be affected.
Hoarding has been erected around the car park at Ilford House and a temporary escape route from Ilford House turning right was formed. For us to complete the external works to Block D this route will now need to be changed. The hoarding line will be moved, and a new temporary path will be installed to the left of Ilford House. These works are due to commence Monday 10th February and should take approximately 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting. However, we do still ask that residents use the doors on the Westcliff side of the block as the primary means of accessing and exiting Ilford House during the works.
During the operation of construction, works will be carried out between the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on a Saturday.
Should you have any queries or concerns, please contact me on 0208 731 3800, alternately write me an email to Alexandra.Robins@lovell.co.uk.
We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and ongoing support. We acknowledge that there will inevitably be some inconvenience during the delivery of the works, but we will do our utmost to keep this to a minimum. We will continue to keep you informed throughout the project with regular newsletters and updates to the website. Also, please keep checking the resident notice boards as these are updated once a week for the latest news on upcoming works.
Lovell will be planning an event for Phase 2 landscape and external works. This gives residents the opportunity to meet with the site team and see more details about how the works will be delivered. The event will be held at the new community centre underneath Threadgold House. More details regarding the event will be sent out to residents in the next coming weeks.
