External Works At Ongar House

We are writing to update you with regards to the external works being carried at the front of Ongar House. Works are due to commence Monday 3rd August and should take approximately 5 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Access

The works being carried out are predominately to the front of your property and will therefore limit your access to your front door. We kindly request that you use the rear access through your garden as an alternative arrangement during these works. This will allow us to work more efficiently and ensure your safety. If you have any problems with this arrangement, please contact the Lovell team who will arrange a visit to discuss the possible options with you.

Deliveries/Visitors

We have been in contact with the local postman and agreed that all post will be delivered as normal with the site team assisting to provide safe, we will do the same with courier or larger deliveries during this period of work. If you are arranging any deliveries out of hours, please ensure you provide clear instructions.

With regards to visitors, we will erect signage to show visitors the alternative routes.

Scope of Works

The following works will take place at Ongar House over the next coming weeks;

  • Breaking out the concrete slab and removing it
  • Drainage works
  • Dig the foundations and install railings
  • Install new paving
  • New soft landscaping to be installed

These works will provide new front gardens for all ground floor properties, this will fit in with the new regeneration works Lovell are carrying out across the estate.

Emergency

Full access will be provided to emergency services in the event of an emergency.

Services

Surveys have been carried out to ensure we are aware of all live services below ground in these areas.
